Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raptor Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adrian Shota!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shota defends it nicely.
Shota lands a glancing blow to the side of Jones's head.


It looks like Raptor Jones has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Shota as Jones shoots in.
Jones tries to clinch up but Shota circles away and keeps his distance.
Shota stuns Jones with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Shota connects with a jab.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shota swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raptor Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shota to the mat! Shota manages to get full guard.

Jones drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Shota dives on top into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Shota passes into side control.

Jones is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Shota is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Jones looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Shota is hanging on to Jones's back as he tries to escape.

Shota slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Jones tries to roll but Shota sticks to his back.

Jones is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Shota.

Jones breaks Shota's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Shota holds on and takes a little breather.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Shota lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Shota manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Shota gets a clinch.
Shota lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
A nice left hand lands by Shota.
Shota lands an elbow inside.
Shota throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Joness head.
Shota makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Jones takes an elbow to the temple.


Jones is rocked!
Shota lands with a left to the head.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Shota just stands there and leans against the cage.
Shota has Jones pressed against the cage. He pushes Jones back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Shota throws a beautiful elbow that sends Jones crashing to the floor! Shota piles on the pressure with more strikes! Jones is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adrian Shota!
A very excited looking Adrian Shota made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
