The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Risley looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Colon misses with a low kick.
Colon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Risley tries a head kick but it misses.
Colon loads up on a big right hand but Risley slips the punch.
Risley throws a body punch but Colon moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Colon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Both fighters circling a little - Risley finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Colon dips to his left and cracks Risley with an uppercut!
Risley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Colon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Colon throws a right and a left that both miss.

Colon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Colon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Risley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Colon feints and then cracks Risley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Risley down.
Risley is looking to slow Colon down with leg kicks.
Risley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Colon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A jab lands there for Colon.
Colon slips a straight right by Risley.
Colon takes one on the button.
Risley throws a big shot that misses.
Risley feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Colon's calf.
Colon goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Colon.
Colon checks the leg kick nicely there.

Risley throws a body punch but Colon moves out of range.

Risley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Colon.

Colon throws the left hand but Risley avoids the punch easily.
Risley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

It looked like Colon was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Risley throws a good cross that connects.

Colon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Risley was well out of range. Poor timing from Colon.
It seemed like Risley was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Risley looks to score with a jab to the body but Colon is just out of range.
Risley avoids the body shot from Colon.

Risley takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Risley takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Risley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
