Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Malenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garuda Meow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malenko slips a straight right by Meow.
Malenko moves out of range as Meow strikes.
Malenko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Meow was well out of range. Poor timing from Malenko.
Malenko has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Nice shot by Meow.
Malenko fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fighters circle momentarily. Malenko darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Meow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Meow connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Malenko momentarily.
Malenko staying out of range there.
Meow shoots in looking for a takedown. Malenko tries to sprawl out of it but Meow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Malenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Meow avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Meow throws a hook but Malenko avoids it easily.
Malenko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Meow.
Meow drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Malenko defends it well.

Meow doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Meow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Meow shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Malenko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Meow.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Meow.
Joe Malenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Garuda Meow.
Malenko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Meow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Malenko moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for Meow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Meow has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Meow swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Meow drops his hands momentarily and Malenko takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Malenko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Malenko is looking to counter punch.

Malenko lands a big uppercut and Meow crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Meow looks OK. Malenko waves Meow back to his feet!

Meow is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Meow misses the shot to the body.
Meow is still on wobbly legs! Can Malenko finish him?
Malenko lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Meow falls backwards - clearly groggy! Malenko dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
