Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jose Torres!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Monroe wants to clinch up but Torres keeps it at a distance.
Torres now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Monroe's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A nice right hand lands inside from Torres.

Torres's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Monroe tries to clinch up but Torres circles away and keeps his distance.
Monroe darts in trying to clinch
and Torres cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Monroe is rocked!

Torres rushes Monroe and presses him up against the ropes.
Monroe misses with a hook to the ribs.
A left hand lands to the body for Torres.
Monroe tries to break free but Torres pushes him back against the ropes.
Torres lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Oh Monroe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Monroe fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Monroe seems to have got his legs back now.
Torres lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Monroe tries to circle away but Torres has him pinned against the ropes.

Torres manages to break the clinch.
Monroe is looking to chop away at Torres's legs.
Torres let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Monroe is looking to clinch but Torres is avoiding it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

and Torres counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
