Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brogan Kearney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeffrey Miller!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller takes one to the chin there.
Miller is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Brogan Kearney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kearney uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miller.

We've been told by Kearney's head coaches at Ground Zero, Las Vegas (LOD) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Miller bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kearney fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Miller looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Miller looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

A little jabbing left from Miller on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Miller takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kearney moves out of range as Miller strikes.
Kearney is looking to wear down Miller with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Miller doesn't manage to clinch there - Kearney circles away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Miller might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kearney has got the better of the exchanges.

Miller lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kearney blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Still in the clinch, Miller scores with a nice short uppercut.
Miller tries to stall but Kearney uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Miller is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Miller is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kearney is defending well for now.

Kearney is rocked!
Miller creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Kearney's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Kearney drops to his knees and Miller pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
