Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Milosz Barchandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josef Urrah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urrah is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Johnny Cash - Oney. Josef Urrah told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Milosz Barchandao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josef Urrah!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urrah takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nice body punch from Barchandao.
Barchandao lands a head shot.
Horrible takedown attempt by Urrah or perhaps it was just good defense by Barchandao, which made it look bad.
Barchandao digs a good hook to Urrah's body.
Barchandao misses with a right hand
and Urrah counters with a nice uppercut.
Urrah looks to score with a jab to the body but Barchandao is just out of range.
Urrah throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barchandao stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Urrah looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
As Urrah looks to move away, Barchandao throws a big counter combo bu Urrah just gets out of the way.
Urrah closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Barchandao quickly recovers to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Urrah shoots in and gets a takedown into Barchandao's guard.

Urrah shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barchandao sprawls well. Barchandao wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Urrah gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Milosz Barchandao will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Urrah jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Barchandao is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Barchandao and Urrah has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Urrah throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Barchandao works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Barchandao wobbles Urrah with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Barchandao dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Urrah to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
