Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamille Sedfenor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Gaarlandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaarlandt shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sedfenor eats them both and turns towards Gaarlandt to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Jamille Sedfenor has been cut.

and Gaarlandt counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sedfenor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gaarlandt counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Sedfenor throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sedfenor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gaarlandt connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sedfenor stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Gaarlandt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gaarlandt ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sedfenor throws a series of punches but Gaarlandt avoids them all with ease.
Gaarlandt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sedfenor ducks right into an uppercut from Gaarlandt.
Gaarlandt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Sedfenor takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Oh Sedfenor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gaarlandt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Gaarlandt connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sedfenor momentarily.
Sedfenor takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gaarlandt cracks Sedfenor with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sedfenor swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Gaarlandt to counter with a crisp jab.

Jamille Sedfenor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gaarlandt scores with the left hand. Sedfenor knows he should have avoided that one.
Gaarlandt stuffs the takedown.
Sedfenor seems to have got his legs back now.

and Gaarlandt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sedfenor misses with a low kick as Gaarlandt jumps back.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gaarlandt! But no joy.
Sedfenor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gaarlandt tries to avoid it but Sedfenor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gaarlandt to the ground. Gaarlandt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamille Sedfenor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
