PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Juan Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruan Pott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juan Carlos comes to the cage accompanied by Mr Colombia. Pott has chosen Winter Rose as his entrance music. The key to victory for Diego Juan Carlos has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juan Carlos is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pott sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pott does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Juan Carlos closes the distance and clinches up with Pott, looking for a takedown. Juan Carlos pushes Pott against the cage but Pott circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Juan Carlos gets caught flat footed, as Pott shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Pott lands a couple of elbows.

It looks like Diego Juan Carlos has been cut.
Pott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Juan Carlos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Juan Carlos tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Juan Carlos could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Juan Carlos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pott is aware though and is defending well.
