Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarik Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tarik Johnson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page just misses with a punch to the body.
Johnson blocks a leg kick.
Johnson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Page defends it well.
Johnson darts in looking for a takedown but Page gets double underhooks and turns Johnson into the cage.
Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Page sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Johnson shoots in and drives through. Page sprawls well.
Dennis Page has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tarik Johnson.
Page leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Johnson shoots for a takedown but Page saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jab, jab by Page - just one landing.
Johnson has his takedown stuffed
and Page counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Page. Johnson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Johnson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick misses from Page.
Johnson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson.
Johnson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Johnson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Page connects with a jab.
Dennis Page is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Page closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Johnson! Page dives in looking to finish! Johnson is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
