The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asikainen swings widly with a right hand
and Holley counters with a stiff right hand.
Asikainen avoids the head kick by Holley.
Asikainen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Holley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Holley has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Asikainen is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Asikainen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Holley tries to counter by closing the distance.
That kick from Holley tenderised Asikainen's leg. Asikainen is trying to keep his angry face on.

Holley closes the distance and catches Asikainen with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Asikainen is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Asikainen is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Asikainen is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Holley takes it!
