Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jason Smith!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Castle looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range.
Castle throws a head kick that misses.
Smith lands a slapping body shot.
We've been told by Castle's head coaches at The GYM (20 elite coaches on the Island !!!) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Smith takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A nice combination there by Smith.
Smith works the jab nicely.
Smith connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Smith connects with a right hand. Castle shakes it off.

Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Castle moves into the clinch.

Castle misses with a punch on the inside.
Castle tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The referee is keeping an eye on Castle - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Castle throws a punch but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith tries to pull guard but Castle holds him up against the cage and eventually Smith drops back down to his feet.

Smith tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Castle smiles and moves away.

Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Smith looks to land a left hand but Castle moved out of range nicely.
Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Castle counters with an inside leg kick.
Castle closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Smith fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dick Castle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Smith.
