The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaqquard jabs Raygun right on the nose. Raygun blinks but takes it well.
Jaqquard ducks under a wild hook from Raygun.
Jaqquard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jaqquard misses with a series of wild punches.
Raygun throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jaqquard throws a lazy uppercut

and Raygun counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Raygun connects with a nice short shot to Jaqquard's temple.
Raygun is pressing down on Jaqquard's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jaqquard is holding on for now.
Jaqquard is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Raygun scores with a couple of nice shots.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Raygun thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jaqquard's head.
Jaqquard is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Elorde MMA (ELITE LEVEL TRAINING W/ ELITE COACHES), so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Raygun keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jaqquard's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Raygun is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Jaqquard is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Raygun defends well.
Jaqquard wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jaqquard darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Raygun thows a left - swing and a miss!
A looping hook to the body misses from Raygun. Jaqquard does a little dance to reset his feet.
Raygun's coach down at Top Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Raygun's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Raygun closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Raygun will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Raygun throws a hook but Jaqquard avoids it easily.
Raygun misses the shot to the body.
Jaqquard shoots in for a double leg but Raygun sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jaqquard throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Raygun.
Jaqquard missing with a left hand there. Raygun was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Raygun is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Raygun does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Raygun is rocked!
Raygun looks to land a left hand but Jaqquard moved out of range nicely.

Raygun misses the shot to the body.
Raygun looks up at the clock. Bad move! Jaqquard lands a right hand from hell, dropping Raygun. Jaqquard pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
