PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ranjid Infuriated (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Metatron Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Infuriated throws a lazy right hand but Halo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nice cross by Infuriated.
Halo tries a head kick but it misses.
Infuriated appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Halo slips a jab from Infuriated.
Infuriated throws a big shot that misses.
Halo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Infuriated looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A slapping leg kick lands for Halo.
Infuriated avoids a kick to the body.
Infuriated bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Halo's head backwards.

It looks like Metatron Halo has been cut.
Halo connects with an inside leg kick.
Halo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Infuriated swings for the body but Halo moves out of range.
Infuriated sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Halo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Halo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Infuriated throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Infuriated swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice defenses there by Halo.
Infuriated looks to land a right hand but Halo moved out of range.
Halo ducks under a wild hook from Infuriated.
Halo cracks the inside of Infuriated's front leg.
Halo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Infuriated has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Halo.
Halo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Halo misses with a head kick.
Halo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Infuriated throws a shot from downtown. Halo moves away and avoids it.

Halo throws out a head kick that Infuriated doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Infuriated crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Infuriated's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

It looks like Ranjid Infuriated has been cut.

Oh Infuriated is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Halo throws a leg kick but Infuriated sees it coming and checks it nicely.

And Halo responds with a good body kick, but Infuriated manages to step out the way in time.

Halo tries to land a front kick but Infuriated steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Infuriated throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Halo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Infuriated avoids the head kick by Halo.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Infuriated checks a leg kick.
Halo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Infuriated thows a left - swing and a miss!
Halo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Halo throws a head kick that Infuriated semi-blocks.

Infuriated throws a looping overhand right but Halo ducks down to avoid it.

Infuriated throws a big shot that misses.
Infuriated is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Infuriated throws the left hand but Halo avoids the punch easily.

Halo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Infuriated.
Halo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Infuriated blocks a head kick by Halo.

A little feinted left hand from Infuriated on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Halo plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Ranjid Infuriated's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Halo looks winded!

Infuriated connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Halo is rocked!
Metatron Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Infuriated circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Halo tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Infuriated wins by KO!
