The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez gets caught flat footed, as Red shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Red works over Perez with some ground and pound from guard.
Red's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Red trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Red working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Perez's head.
