The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Wallace.
Aires avoids the body shot from Wallace.
Aires gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Aires throws a head kick but Wallace moves out of range.
Wallace tries a low kick but Aires avoids it.
Aires slips under a jab.
Wallace throws out a loose jab but Aires uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aires feinted with a counter takedown.
Aires throws a nice inside leg kick.
Wallace scores with a nice right hand.
Wallace throws a shot from downtown. Aires moves away and avoids it.
Wallace looks to land a left hand but Aires moved out of range nicely.
Wallace tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Aires throws a quick counter kick to the body but Wallace avoids it.

Wallace takes a swing at Aires's ribcage but misses.
Wallace thuds a left hand into Aires's body.
Aires closes the distance and clinches up with Wallace, looking for a takedown. Aires pushes Wallace against the cage but Wallace circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Aires throws a sloppy head kick and Wallace moves out of range easily.
Wallace lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Wallace forces Aires back against the cage and clinches.
Aires jumps guard but Wallace turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Wallace lands a left hand that snaps the head of Aires backwards.
Aires is trying to maintain a safe position but Wallace gets an underhook and turns Aires into the cage.
Wallace throws a punch but it's blocked by Aires.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Wallace just misses with a elbow thrown towards Aires's brow.

Wallace lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Wallace gets through Aires's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

I was talking to Aires's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Wallace drops Aires onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Aires is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Aires is rocked!
Wallace creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Aires's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Aires drops to his knees and Wallace pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
