The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fjodorow tries to clinch but Pete moves out of range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Pete.
Fjodorow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pete moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pete slips a jab and a cross from Fjodorow.
Fjodorow lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pete backs up against the ropes.
Some wild striking there from Fjodorow.
Pete looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Fjodorow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fjodorow wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fjodorow misses with a double jab.
Fjodorow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pete was well out of range. Poor timing from Fjodorow.

Fjodorow drops his hands momentarily and Pete takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Pete connects with a leg kick. Fjodorow looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Pete lands a brutal head kick. Fjodorow looks out on his feet and Pete throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
