Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Backlund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Costea Dinescu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Costea Dinescu was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Dinescu.
Dinescu throws a head kick that misses.
Dinescu takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dinescu slips a jab from Backlund.
Dinescu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Dinescu lands a lovely overhand right.
Dinescu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Backlund has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA New York in the buildup to the fight.

Dinescu connects with a right that clearly hurt Backlund. He's backed up against the ropes with nowhere to go as Dinescu proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Backlund collapses and taps out under the pressure!
