Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ai Za and Joaquim Antunes. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Joaquim Antunes!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

We've been hearing good reports from Za's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Antunes is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Za off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Za is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Antunes defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Antunes rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Antunes has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Za is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Antunes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Za has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Antunes has managed to get both his arms back between Za's legs - danger averted.

Antunes is just content to waste time from the top position. Za takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Antunes looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Za moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Antunes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ai Za has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Za has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Antunes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
Antunes wins on points by 12 to 8.
