Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Hale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brynden Tully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hale comes to the cage accompanied by Dead Sara - Weatherman. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Brynden Tully!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Tully - that will leave a mark!
Hale throws a leg kick that is checked
and Tully counters with a right hand to the body.
Tully has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hale misses with a looping left.
Tully throws a body punch but Hale moves out of range.
Hale misses the shot to the body.
Hale lands a nice looking body shot.
Hale will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tully on the wrong end of a nice hook.


It looks like Brynden Tully has been cut.
Tully throws a sloppy head kick and Hale moves out of range easily.
Tully with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hale looks to throw the jab but Tully is out of range.
Hale throws out a loose jab but Tully uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tully is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Hale takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Tully misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've been hearing reports that Hale has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tully tries to land a front kick but Hale steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brynden Tully seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hale is pushing Tully up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Hale is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Tully's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Tully throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tully has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hale takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tully motions for Hale to come forward. Tully throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hale lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hale.
The fighters circling - Tully throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tully scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Tully misses with a body kick.
Tully goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hale attempts a counter takedown but Tully avoids it well and moves away.
Tully throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tully lands a slapping body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brynden Tully showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Hale tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tully paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hale misses with a low kick as Tully jumps back.

Hale swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Tully plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Tully feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hale's calf.
Some wild striking there from Hale.
Tully misses with a low kick as Hale jumps back.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hale.
Tully misses with a head kick.
Tully walks into a left hand.
Tully throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hale.
Hale takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hale takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Hale connects with the punch.


Tully is rocked!
Hale throws the kick towards the body but Tully avoids it.
Tully moves out of range of the body kick from Hale.
Hale connects with a right hand. Tully shakes it off.
Tully is still on wobbly legs! Can Hale finish him?
Sloppy strikes from Hale. Those never looked like landing.
Tully throws a head kick that misses.
Tully is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hale rather than just go for the knockout.
Hale pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Hale counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Hale lands an uppercut.
Hale creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Tully's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Tully drops to his knees and Hale pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brandon Hale!
Brandon Hale tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
