Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leigh Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Campion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Leigh Ellison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matthew Campion!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campion gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Campion gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ellison.
Ellison jumps guard but Campion stands there with Ellison around his waist. Ellison gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ellison drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leigh Ellison. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Campion's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Campion throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ellison stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ellison wants to clinch
and Campion counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Campion throws a sloppy head kick and Ellison moves out of range easily.
Campion lands a high kick!
It looks like Leigh Ellison has been cut.
Matthew Campion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ellison shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ellison was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Campion manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ellison's best efforts.
Ellison is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Campion defends it well.

Ellison is working for a kimura but Campion is defending it quite comfortably.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Campion wants to get back to his feet.
Ellison seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Campion has recovered full guard.
Campion preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Campion has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ellison off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Campion lands a big head kick that sends Ellison tumbling to the mat! Campion takes a step backwards and waves Ellison back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ellison shoots for a takedown but Campion saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The fighters circle, before Campion throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Ellison's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Campion lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Matthew Campion!
