The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dove misses the shot to the body.

Nice takedown defense from Mcgowan. No joy for Dove on that attempt.
Dove fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mcgowan avoids it really well and circles away.
Dove throws a body punch but Mcgowan moves out of range.
Dove closes the distance and pushes Mcgowan back into the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dove is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

Mcgowan just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
I really don't envy Dove right now.
Dove is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Dove is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Mcgowan is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Dove taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Mcgowan.
