Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overton missing with a left hand there. Gill was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gill throwing a counter right hand but Overton manages to avoid it.
Overton scores with a shot to the body.
Gill shoots in looking for a takedown but Overton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gill's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Gill gets caught napping as Overton dives in and scores a takedown. Gill manages to retain guard.
Overton slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Gill will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Overton wants to control from the top but Gill keeps moving.
Gill tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gill holds on and takes a little breather.

Overton stays in close to Gill's body and controls the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Overton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gill stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Overton lands with a straight right. Gill didn't see that one coming.
Overton scores with a sloppy right hand. Gill should have avoided that one.
Overton circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gill to the canvas! Gill doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Overton keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
