The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov throws a nice looking combination but Cohen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cohen is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Ivanov.
A slapping leg kick lands for Cohen.
Cohen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ivanov scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Cohen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ivanov ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ivanov lands a nice hook to Cohen's body. Cohen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Cohen is trying to stand back up but Ivanov is controlling him
Ivanov wants to take a breather but Cohen is having none of it.

Ivanov seems to be looking for submissions.
Ivanov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ivanov seems to be working for a kimura but Cohen defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cohen is holding on to half guard well.
Cohen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Ivanov is stalling here. Cohen is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ivanov seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Cohen has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Cohen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ivanov on the ground.
Ivanov sneaks back into half guard.

Cohen wants to pass to mount but Ivanov is defending the position.
Cohen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ivanov is pressing down on Cohen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Cohen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ivanov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cohen is controlling him.
Cohen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ivanov looking for a triangle here. Cohen is fighting it but it looks tight! Ivanov pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Cohen is tapping out - this one is all over!
