Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terrell Dale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Robert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toby Robert will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terrell Dale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Toby Robert!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Chris Dean and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dale will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Robert misses with a body kick.
A quick step to the side and Dale tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Robert scores with a jab to the body.
Robert goes for a double leg but Dale avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dale continues to drive forward.
Dale seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Robert leaves Dale with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Robert is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robert tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dale paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dale swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Robert throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dale's waist but Dale gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Robert off to one side.

Robert tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dale sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Robert somewhat.

Dale is looking to counter the offense by Robert and move into the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Robert will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Robert takes a swing at Dale's ribcage but misses.

That was a close round but I would say that Terrell Dale will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Robert shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dale sprawls well. Dale wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Robert gets slowly back to his feet.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dale's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Robert dives in for a single leg takedown but Dale sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Dale went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Robert shoots in for a takedown but Dale shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dale is defended easily by Robert.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Robert shoots and misses

and Dale holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Dale.
Dale working hard to break the clinch.
Robert lands a body punch.

Dale escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Robert throws a wild body kick that Dale sees coming a mile off.

Robert gets tackled into the cage by Dale. Dale maintains the clinch.
Dale managing to block the knees to the body from Robert.
Dale could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dale avoids the head kick by Robert.
Dale attempts a counter takedown but Robert avoids it well and moves away.

Nice sprawl there from Dale as Robert shoots in.
Dale was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Robert tries to close the distance and clinch but Dale swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

As Robert looks to move away, Dale throws a big counter combo bu Robert just gets out of the way.

Dale fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Robert to the ground. Dale is now in Robert's guard.
Dale throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dale accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dale stands and steps away. Robert gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

It looked like Dale was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Dale blocks a head kick by Robert.

and Dale counters with a two punch combo.
Dale stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dale wants it to stay on the feet.

Robert throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dale.
