PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zane Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haris Ribic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Zane Stewart has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Zane Stewart seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewart blocks a head kick by Ribic.

Ribic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zane Stewart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Ribic counters with a three punch combo that has Stewart backing up. Stewart nods at Ribic to acknowledge the strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stewart shoots in and gets a takedown into Ribic's guard.
Ribic avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ribic is pushing Stewart's head away, looking to escape. Stewart manages to hold on to the position though.

Stewart sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ribic is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Stewart throws an elbow but Ribic slips to the side and avoids it well.

and Ribic counters with a series of strikes. Stewart will be more careful next time no doubt.
