Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yeshua Immanuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noir's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pride. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marshall Noir!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yeshua Immanuel!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Immanuel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Immanuel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Immanuel wants to clinch but Noir slips to the side

and Noir counters with a single leg into guard. Immanuel didn't expect that.

Noir is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Noir has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Noir jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Immanuel is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Immanuel and Noir has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Immanuel closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Noir is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Immanuel defends well.

Noir has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Immanuel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Noir is looking to get back to full guard here but Immanuel has managed to pass to side control instead.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Noir is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Noir has his foot on Immanuel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Immanuel works his way back into a safe position though.

Noir wants to sweep here but Immanuel controlling him for the moment.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Immanuel remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Noir is not content to let Immanuel control the position.
Noir is looking to regain half guard here but Immanuel keeps moving and retains side control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

and Noir counters with a three punch combo that has Immanuel backing up. Immanuel nods at Noir to acknowledge the strikes.
Immanuel tries a head kick but it misses.
Noir shoots for a takedown but Immanuel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marshall Noir will probably get the nod.

Noir goes for a double leg but Immanuel avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Immanuel continues to drive forward.

Noir takes a swing at Immanuel's ribcage but misses.
Immanuel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Immanuel fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Noir checks it well.

Noir drops down looking for a counter takedown but Immanuel sprawls and moves away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Noir.
Yeshua Immanuel seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Noir gets control of Immanuel's arms and successfully pulls guard. Noir will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Yeshua Immanuel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Immanuel on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Immanuel throws a head kick but Noir moves out of range.
Noir avoids the body shot from Immanuel.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Noir wants to sweep here but Immanuel controlling him for the moment.
Noir manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Immanuel manages to get himself to full guard.

Noir sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Immanuel's guard.

Noir swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Immanuel is now in Noir's guard. A big mistake from Noir there, giving up the dominant position!

Marshall Noir had his way with Yeshua Immanuel in that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Immanuel uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Noir gets tackled into the cage by Immanuel. Immanuel maintains the clinch.
Noir jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Immanuel walks away with a smile on his face. Noir gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Noir shoots for a takedown but Immanuel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Immanuel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Marshall Noir is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Noir tries to pass the half guard into mount. Immanuel knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Immanuel is not content to let Noir control the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Immanuel slips a jab and a cross from Noir.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Noir blocks a head kick by Immanuel.
Noir gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Noir uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Immanuel.

Yeshua Immanuel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Noir has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
