PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hector Corpor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Lohan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corpor comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Be Touched. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Corpor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Amir Lohan!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lohan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Lohan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lohan fails to land with a series of punches.
Corpor has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Corpor lands with a nice body punch.
Lohan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Corpor.
Lohan has a takedown stuffed.

Lohan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lohan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Corpor dives on top into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lohan has his foot on Corpor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Corpor works his way back into a safe position though.
Corpor controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Corpor won't allow Lohan to sweep him here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lohan keeping moving, preventing Corpor from controlling successfully.
Lohan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Corpor manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Lohan wants to control from the top but Corpor keeps moving.
Lohan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Lohan looking to sit in guard and control but Corpor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Lohan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lohan trying to keep a closed guard but Corpor is proving a slippery customer.
Lohan wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A chopping leg kick lands by Corpor.
Corpor lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Corpor ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Corpor cracks a nice hook into Lohan's ribs.
Lohan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Lohan shoots in looking for a takedown but Corpor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lohan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Corpor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lohan's head.
A thudding body kick lands there by Corpor!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Corpor lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Corpor lands with a straight right. Lohan didn't see that one coming.

Lohan is rocked!
Corpor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lohan is still on wobbly legs! Can Corpor finish him?
Corpor steps in with a hook that catches Lohan right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Corpor follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lohan looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Corpor!
Our winner, Hector Corpor, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
