Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafinha Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Der Debil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Debil is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bulimic. Rafinha Silva is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Der Debil!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Debil moves away from the strike by Silva.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Debil moves away.
Debil misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Silva appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Silva misses with a hook. Debil ducked under it nicely.
Debil fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away.
Debil rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Debil.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

You can see the frustration on Silva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Silva takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Debil creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Debil cracks Silva with a big elbow.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Debil on the ground.
Check out the look on Debil's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Debil is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Silva is trying to escape and Debil transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Silva is forced to tap! Nice work there by Debil! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Der Debil!
After the fight, Der Debil was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
