The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Boyka missing with a left hand there. Sotto Jr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sotto Jr keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boyka.
Sotto Jr is looking to counter punch.
Sotto Jr throws a head kick but Boyka moves out of range.
Sotto Jr works over Boyka's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Yuri Boyka has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been hearing reports that Sotto Jr has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Boyka throws a hook to the side of Sotto Jr's head but Sotto Jr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A head kick from Sotto Jr lands but Boyka takes it in his stride.

Sotto Jr throws out a loose jab but Boyka uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sotto Jr lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Boyka connects with a body shot.
