Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Houser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marques comes into a darkened arena with his song building. mosh kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marques misses with a wild combination.
Marques keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Houser avoids a punch combination nicely.
Houser throws a sloppy body shot
letting Marques counter with a right hand.

Houser punishes Marques's body with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Houser fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marques manages to avoid it.
Houser thows a leg kick but Marques checks it
and Marques counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Houser misses with an uppercut.
A slow jab from Houser misses its intended target.
Marques lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Houser throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A jab from Houser finds it's way through Marques's defenses.
It looks like Fabio Marques has been cut.
Marques throws a series of punches but Houser moves out of range.
Houser lands a big right hand that sends Marques crashing to the mat! Houser stays standing though and waves Marques back to his feet!
Marques is rocked!
Marques swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Houser counters with a huge right that knocks Marques out cold! Houser is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mike Houser!
A relieved looking Mike Houser thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
