Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Laban Ladvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Placencia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Placencia has chosen Eminem - The Monster Ft. Rihanna as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Laban Ladvik has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Placencia moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Anthony Placencia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Placencia throws a head kick that misses.
Placencia looks to land a right hand but Ladvik moved out of range.

Placencia shoots in and gets a takedown into Ladvik's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Ladvik's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Placencia in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Placencia postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ladvik holds on and takes a little breather.
Placencia looking to sit in guard and control but Ladvik gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Placencia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ladvik doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ladvik manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Placencia wants to get back to his feet but Ladvik is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Placencia looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ladvik is defending well. Placencia quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ladvik has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Placencia celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Post fight, an emotional Anthony Placencia said 'This Is It. Its Here Baby..'.
In defeat, Laban Ladvik stepped up to the mic, saying 'I will get you next time!'.
