Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zachery Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulin Gourbiere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gourbiere throws a combination that misses

and Hardy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hardy.
Hardy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gourbiere pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hardy tries to score a body lock takedown but Gourbiere shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
A right handed body shot lands from Hardy.
Gourbiere creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Hardy looking for a guillotine here but Gourbiere defends easily.

Hardy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gourbiere stacks Hardy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gourbiere!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Gourbiere swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hardy is now in Gourbiere's guard. A big mistake from Gourbiere there, giving up the dominant position!
Gourbiere has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Hardy wanted to stand there but Gourbiere had control of the position.

Hardy darts in and clinches Gourbiere up against the cage.

Gourbiere has hold of one of Hardy's legs. Hardy is fighting the takedown attempt but Gourbiere gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Gourbiere shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gourbiere showed some decent athleticism there.

Gourbiere wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hardy keeps working.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Gourbiere trying to control the position but Hardy is working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gourbiere might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hardy haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
