The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz's corner calls for a 1-2. Diaz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Diaz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Norvell's head backwards.
Diaz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Diaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Norvell manages to avoid it.
Norvell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Diaz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Norvell is aware though and is defending well.
Diaz has momentary wrist control but Norvell slips an elbow through the middle.
