Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Borocop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ashton comes into the arena with Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man blaring out of the sound system. Mark Borocop has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Borocop!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashton fails with the takedown.
Ashton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Borocop sprawls well. Borocop wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ashton gets slowly back to his feet.
We've been told by Ashton's head coaches at Rape Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ashton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Ashton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ashton fails to land with a series of punches.
Borocop scores with a nice body kick.
Borocop throws a head kick that Ashton semi-blocks.
Ashton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Borocop circles away.
A little jabbing left from Borocop on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Ashton shoots in for a takedown but Borocop shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Borocop connects with a solid leg kick.
Ashton has his takedown stuffed
and Borocop counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ashton is breathing heavily.
Ashton takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Borocop lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice leg kick lands there from Borocop.
Borocop misses with a looping left.
Borocop throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ashton with a poor takedown
and Ashton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

A chopping leg kick lands by Borocop.
Ashton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ashton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Borocop's waist but Borocop gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ashton off to one side.
Borocop fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ashton on the side of the head.
Borocop is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ashton.
Ashton takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Ashton is rocked!
Good standup being displayed there by Borocop as he connects with a hook.
Oh Ashton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ashton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Borocop circles away.
Borocop fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ashton.
Ashton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Borocop to counter with a crisp jab.
Ashton shoots in but no luck this time.
Borocop connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Ashton to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Borocop!
