Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Lapis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasiliy Khrapov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lapis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Once Solemn . Khrapov has chosen Rocky road to Dublin (RUS) as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapis tries to clinch but Khrapov is having none of it.
Lapis shoots in for a takedown but Khrapov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Khrapov lands a jab to the head.
A nice inside leg kick there by Khrapov. That's going to slow Lapis down.
A left lands for Khrapov.
Khrapov moves into range and connects with a jab.
Lapis connects with a crisp jab.
A left and a right from Lapis both land. Nice combination.
Khrapov misses with an uppercut. Lapis saw that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Khrapov connects with a crisp jab.
Nice takedown defense from Khrapov. No joy for Lapis on that attempt.
Lapis lands with an uppercut that bounces Khrapov off the cage and back into range.
Lapis tries to move into range but Khrapov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Khrapov sends Lapis crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Khrapov is motioning to the referee to let Lapis up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Lapis is rocked!
Khrapov throws a series of punches but Lapis moves out of range.
Oh Lapis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Khrapov tries to clinch up but Lapis circles away and keeps his distance.
Khrapov lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lapis at a distance.
Khrapov pounces like a tiger and cracks Lapis with a vicious hook! Lapis is down but not out! Khrapov follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vasiliy Khrapov!
