Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michael Thigpen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dillon Pittsenbarger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pittsenbarger's choice of entrance music: Back Stabbers . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thigpen misses with a two punch combination.
Thigpen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thigpen dives in for a single leg takedown but Pittsenbarger sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Pittsenbarger is looking for the big counter here.
Pittsenbarger fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Thigpen to the ground. Pittsenbarger is now in Thigpen's guard.
Pittsenbarger slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Thigpen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pittsenbarger on the ground.
Thigpen working a defensive guard but Pittsenbarger manages to pass into side control anyway.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pittsenbarger lands a few punches from side control.
Thigpen is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pittsenbarger in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Thigpen takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Pittsenbarger has hold of Thigpen's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Thigpen tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pittsenbarger cranks the arm and Thigpen screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Thigpen, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Dillon Pittsenbarger!
