Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Frederick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanga Roos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Frederick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kanga Roos!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roos scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Roos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Frederick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Frederick shoots in looking for a takedown. Roos tries to sprawl out of it but Frederick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Roos takes the fight into the clinch.
Frederick has Roos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Roos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Roos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Frederick shoots in for a takedown but Roos shows good takedown defense.

Roos postures up and lands a big shot to Frederick's brow.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roos manages to work his way to half guard, despite Frederick's best efforts.

Frederick is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Roos is controlling him.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Roos stands and steps away. Frederick gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Roos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
