Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Boswell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen The Pitbull is back! as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Boswell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boswell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gracie can do anything to dispel that myth.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.
Gracie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boswell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie postures up in Boswell's guard and throws a big left but Boswell blocks it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Gracie is fighting to break Boswell's control of his arms but Boswell is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Vitor Gracie will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Boswell was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Boswell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

In his post fight interview, Bryce Boswell started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
