Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abraham Safforn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Safforn drives through with a takedown into Jones's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Jones's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
You can see the frustration on Safforn's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Abraham Safforn.
Well Safforn has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
