Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Nikiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raju Armo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikiel comes to the cage accompanied by Krystian Pudzianowski - Slowianski wiatr. Raju Armo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikiel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A nice side step and Armo releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Armo throws a sloppy head kick and Nikiel moves out of range easily.
Nikiel misses with a body shot.
Nikiel tries a head kick but it misses.
Armo doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Nikiel misses with an uppercut. Armo saw that one coming.
Nikiel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Raju Armo has been cut.
Nikiel drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Armo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nikiel throws a nice looking combination but Armo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Nikiel drops Armo with a beautiful combination! Armo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nikiel is looking for the KO!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Armo lands with a kick to the temple. Nikiel shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

And Armo tries to counter it with a takedown but Nikiel pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Armo counters with a head kick. That will keep Nikiel thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Nikiel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Armo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Armo throws a head kick that half lands.
Nikiel takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Nikiel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Armo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nikiel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Armo closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Mariusz Nikiel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nikiel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Armo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nikiel scrambles back to his feet.

Armo lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Nikiel is looking to close the distance but Armo sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Nikiel crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Nikiel is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Raju Armo!
Raju Armo decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
