And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabian Hoi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Hoi - just one landing.
Nice straight punches there by Hoi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hoi.
Suya connects with a right hand. Hoi shakes it off.
Hoi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hoi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Nice defenses there by Suya.
Suya ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hoi moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Suya. Hoi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Suya motions for Hoi to come forward. Suya throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Suya misses the shot to the body.
Hoi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hoi works Suya's body with a nice hook.
Hoi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Suya takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Suya tried to score with a low kick but Hoi checks it.
Suya scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hoi in his tracks.
Suya lands with a nice body punch.
Hoi moves out of range of the body kick from Suya.
Suya digs a good body shot into Hoi's ribs.
Suya ducks under a wild hook from Hoi.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoi thows a body kick. Suya tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Hoi cracks Suya with a good jab.
Hoi blocks a low kick nicely.
Hoi now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Hoi needs to keep his hands up - Suya had a free shot at his head there.
Hoi moves out of range as Suya strikes.
Hoi scores with a jab. Suya acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Suya is rocked!

It looks like Kanchai Suya has been cut.
Hoi throws a right hand that Suya ducks under and follows up with a left that Suya also avoids with ease.
Oh Suya is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick by Hoi - that's a beauty! Suya is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Hoi can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Fabian Hoi!
A relieved looking Fabian Hoi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
