TWGC 5 (145lbs, D1): Finals - Round 2 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Joaquim Antunes and Ein Stein. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ein Stein was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 1 losses; Joaquim Antunes! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Ein Stein!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Antunes seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stein for as long as he can get away with.

A relieved looking Joaquim Antunes thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
