Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Kung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AG Pennypacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, AG Pennypacker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kung shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pennypacker as he avoids it easily.
Pennypacker tries a quick counter leg kick but Kung is wise to it.
Pennypacker getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Kung shoots in looking for a takedown but Pennypacker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kung's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pennypacker lands a right hook to the body.

Pennypacker gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pennypacker lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Pennypacker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kung backwards.
Kung has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pennypacker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We've been hearing reports that Kung has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Kung shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pennypacker pinned against the ropes. Pennypacker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kung seems to have got his legs back now.

Kung tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pennypacker defends well and Kung ends up having to push Pennypacker into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kung is working for takedown but Pennypacker is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kung fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pennypacker manages to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pennypacker feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kungs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kung throws a lazy right hand but Pennypacker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Pennypacker drops Kung with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kung looks back up at him and smiles so Pennypacker waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kung. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pennypacker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pennypacker wants it to stay on the feet.
Kung darts in looking for a takedown but Pennypacker gets double underhooks and turns Kung into the ropes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kung or perhaps it was just good defense by Pennypacker, which made it look bad.

Pennypacker has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kung is landing a low percentage of strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pennypacker enables Kung to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pennypacker manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

AG Pennypacker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kung moves forwards but Pennypacker connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pennypacker drops Kung with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Kung! Pennypacker dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). AG Pennypacker!
A relieved looking AG Pennypacker thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
