Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Cowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Guns and Roses - Reckless Life. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Cowen.
Cowen takes a kick to the side of the head.
Brock shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cowen defends it nicely.

Brock is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cowen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Brock fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cowen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We've been hearing reports that Brock has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Brock throws an elbow that misses. Cowen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brock's guard. Nice move by Cowen!

Brock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Cowen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

It looks like Eddie Brock has been cut.
Cowen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Oh Brock is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cowen lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Brock - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Cowen!

Jared Cowen spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Eddie Brock was interviewed post fight and said 'This is the end of my career...'.
