The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bloodsport is defended easily by Chimaera.
Chimaera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bloodsport tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chimaera swivels and escapes.
Bloodsport shoots in and drives through. Chimaera sprawls well.
The Chimaera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Great Bloodsport.
A nice inside leg kick there by Chimaera. That's going to slow Bloodsport down.
Chimaera throws a front kick that sends Bloodsport stumbling back into the ropes.
Chimaera works over Bloodsport's head and body with a nice combination.
Chimaera slaps away a takedown attempt from Bloodsport, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Chimaera leaves Bloodsport with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bloodsport looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chimaera is fending him off so far but Bloodsport persists. Nope, Chimaera circles away and we're back to standing.
Bloodsport chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chimaera can pounce on him.
Chimaera lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Chimaera tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bloodsport was well out of range. Poor timing from Chimaera.
And Bloodsport tries to counter it with a takedown but Chimaera pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Bloodsport tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chimaera defends well and Bloodsport ends up having to push Chimaera into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Chimaera throws a big counter combination but Bloodsport scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Bloodsport shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chimaera defends it nicely.
Chimaera throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Bloodsport has taken the fight to the clinch.
Chimaera with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Chimaera tries a knee to the head but Bloodsport blocks it.

Chimaera manages to break the clinch.
Bloodsport misses with a double jab
and Chimaera counters with a nice body shot.
Bloodsport shoots in but Chimaera avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chimaera connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Chimaera displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bloodsport.

Bloodsport is looking to clinch but Chimaera is avoiding it.
Chimaera digs a good body shot into Bloodsport's ribs.

Bloodsport fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chimaera, pushing him back against the ropes.
Bloodsport drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bloodsport goes for a takedown attempt but Chimaera pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bloodsport crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chimaera - the referee stops the clock and Bloodsport gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chimaera. Bloodsport manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Chimaera plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Bloodsport shoots in but Chimaera avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Chimaera throws a quick inside leg kick.

Good work by Chimaera as he checks the leg kick.
Bloodsport throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bloodsport shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chimaera pinned against the ropes. Chimaera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Chimaera's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bloodsport under the eye.
Bloodsport shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chimaera sprawls well. Chimaera wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bloodsport gets slowly back to his feet.
Chimaera half committed to a counter leg kick.

Both fighters circling a little - Chimaera finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Bloodsport has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chimaera.

Chimaera wants to break free but Bloodsport has control.
Bloodsport tries to pull guard but Chimaera won't allow it.
Chimaera prevents the takedown attempt.
Chimaera wants to get back to striking at distance but Bloodsport won't allow it.
Bloodsport fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Chimaera lands a head kick. Bloodsport smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Chimaera turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Chimaera scores with a kick to the body.
Chimaera connects with an inside leg kick.

Bloodsport sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Bloodsport is breathing heavily.
Chimaera lands with a cross.

Chimaera lands a big head kick that sends Bloodsport tumbling to the mat! Chimaera takes a step backwards and waves Bloodsport back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bloodsport is rocked!

Bloodsport is still on wobbly legs! Can Chimaera finish him?
Chimaera is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bloodsport can do to turn this around?
Chimaera lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bloodsport will feel that in the morning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good leg kick by Chimaera there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The fighters circle, before Chimaera throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Bloodsport's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Chimaera lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
