Burns is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rock Master Scott & The Dynamic Three - The Roof Is On Fire. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva gets caught flat footed, as Burns shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Burns throws a big right hand that misses.
Silva wants to stand up but Burns is controlling him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burns tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Burns swings around for an armbar but Silva sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Burns's guard.

Burns had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Silva defends it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Eduardo Silva will probably get the nod.

Burns swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Silva blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Burns misses with a hook to the ribs.
Silva manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Silva creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Silva digs a right hand underneath Burns's ribcage. Burns let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Burns is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Silva misses with an elbow strike.
Silva blocks an uppercut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Burns.
Silva gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Burns goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Silva fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Burns shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Burns's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Silva steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Burns is out on his feet! Silva sets himself and nearly takes Burns's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Eduardo Silva!
Eduardo Silva decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
The defeated Brian Burns had this to say: 'Hats off to my opponent. He was better tonight. I hope we meet again in the future.'.
