Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valentino Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valentino Zamora has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Zamora tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Zamora's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zamora isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jones stacks Zamora on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jones!

Jones tries for a kimura but Zamora is defending well.

Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zamora, who protects the arm well.

Zamora swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Jones takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zamora looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones manages to capitalize on a mistake by Zamora to take his back!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Zamora just trying to survive but Jones is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Zamora manages to reverse the position and now he's in Jones's guard. Nice work there by Zamora.
Zamora stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's time! Zamora's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jones throws a push kick but Zamora slaps the foot to one side.
Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Zamora throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Zamora seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zamora has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Zamora's legs - danger averted.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Zamora knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Jon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Zamora cracks Jones with an open hand slap.
Jones shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zamora scores with a nice strike.
Jones wants to clinch

Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Valentino Zamora is winning the standup battle so far.
Jones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Zamora finish him?
A head kick from Jones lands but Zamora takes it in his stride.
No joy there for Zamora, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses.

Zamora drops Jones with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jones looks back up at him and smiles so Zamora waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zamora tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.
Zamora creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Jones with a big uppercut! Jones tries to clinch up but Zamora pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Jones to the mat! Jones covers up and Zamora unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
