Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donald Duff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Wickam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duff's entrance music is Carmina Burana. A fine choice. Donald Duff is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duff will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wickam swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And Duff counters with a quick kick to the body but Wickam blocks it.

Wickam looks up at the clock and then as Duff takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wickam smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Duff postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wickam is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Duff, into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wickam is in close to Duff's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Duff is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wickam is aware though and is defending well.
Wickam wants to control from the top but Duff keeps moving.

Duff escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wickam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Duff has his foot on Wickam's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wickam works his way back into a safe position though.

Duff working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wickam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wickam manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Duff takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wickam has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Duff shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wickam pinned against the cage. Wickam gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wickam cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Duff is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wickam gets his way!

Well Wickam has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
