Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Permitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the ring accompanied by Strong Arm Steady. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francois Permitis!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Permitis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Permitis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet.

And Permitis tries to counter it with a takedown but Jackson pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Permitis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Permitis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
