Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood slaps away a takedown attempt from Won, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Decent striking displayed by Won there.
Wood feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wood slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wood won't allow Won to sweep him here.
Wood is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wood closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wood lands in his opponent's guard.

Wood is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Wood shoots in and gets a takedown into Won's guard.
Won wants to sweep but no luck.
Wood drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Wood as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Won screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Wood! Nice submission victory there!
